The golden sands stretch six kilometres, the Levante in the east of Benidorm down to the Poniente in the west. Levante beach is known as the sunrise beach and is a sandy haven for those holidaymakers who want to have fun in the sun. You can enjoy a relaxing sunbathe or a great variety of water sports. The Levante beach has a large promenade, which is full or many different lively bars, and cafes, which becomes even livelier after sunset providing an amazing nightlife for all. The Poniente beach is just beyond the old town but has a very different atmosphere to the Levante, it is much more relaxed and less lively but there are still many activities to take part in such as water sports. There is more variety with cabaret bars and ballroom dancing for those who want to try something different. The weather in Benidorm also adds to the amazing time you will have on your holiday, the winters are pleasantly warm with temperatures of around 13°C and at the height of summer temperatures reach around 27°C with eleven hours of sun a day. The nearest airport to Benidorm is in Alicante which is just an hour’s drive away from Benidorm 60km down the road. It is just a two hour flight and departures are from all UK airports. |
